I never take any of the candy my son gets from trick or treating unless it's something he could choke on. The only candy I eat is the leftovers I get from the trick or treaters.
I especially like to GET the individually wrapped candy bars. Er, I mean, I like when my kids get them. (They're not allowed to eat much candy at one time, so I'm really just doing them a service, right?)
Isn't that the job of every mom post Halloween? Weed through the candy and make sure it's safe while quietly taking tiny little chocolate bars on the sly. After all, we're saving our kids from all those unnecessary calories...right?! :)
