United Way, RSVP offer tax prep program

United Way of Allen County and Volunteer Center RSVP have organized the Free Tax Preparation Program for Allen County to begin Saturday, Feb. 2. Sites are also available in DeKalb and Noble Counties. Free tax preparation will take place from Feb. 2 to April 13 at a variety of dates, locations and times.
Any family or individual earning less than $57,000 annually qualifies for the Free Tax Preparation program organized by members of the Financial Stability Partnership. IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers help residents file their taxes and claim available credits, including the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC).
