Welcome to Moms.FortWayne.com. We are so glad you have decided to visit and most likely join our community! We are thrilled to have this fantastic site open for moms to connect. The main goal? To help you get the most out of having one of the toughest jobs in the world – being a mom. We know!
Our partner print publication, Moms magazine, provides the backbone of Moms.FortWayne.com articles. Then we add online-only features each day, active discussions, parent-centered blogs and groups, and a marketplace to buy and sell. We encourage parents to register on the website to comment on articles, join discussions and groups, weigh in on issues through polls and talk with our bloggers. We also invite parents and community groups to submit events via our convenient Things To Do calendar feature and to share fun photos of family life. Moms.FortWayne.com — with our registered site participants — is creating a welcoming online place to relax, find useful information and support from fellow parents, connect with other moms (and dads!) and even laugh at the amazing experiences all parents share.
The staff is lead by Moms editors Bonnie Blackburn, a local mom and blogger for the site, and Melody Schmitt-Foreman, site administrator and also a mom of two.
